She has founded and until 2016 was the CEO of Q-Biologicals NV, a CDMO company, currently part of the Eurofins group, dedicated to the development of manufacturing processes and cGMP production of biologicals. Prior to that she was Vice-President Biologicals at Innogenetics.

Currently, she is a board member of different companies and is managing director of CreaBioSupport, a consulting company dedicated to help life science companies with their process development and GMP production, and in their growth through internal development and partnerships. She is a professor emeritus at the University of Antwerp, where she gave a course on Industrial Biotechnology and Microbiology.
